Privacy Policy
Last updated September 24, 2026
This policy explains what the BackRoom client hub collects, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, phone number, brokerage, market, timezone, and the services you are interested in.
- Sign-in information: your password is stored only as a one-way cryptographic hash that cannot be turned back into the password. If you use Google, we receive your name, email address, and a Google account identifier; we do not receive your Google password.
- Work records: tasks, drafts, approvals, files, and messages exchanged with your team in the Portal.
- Security records: sign-in sessions and limited connection information used to prevent abuse, such as repeated failed sign-ins.
How we use it
To create and secure your account, contact you about setting up and delivering your services, show your work and files, keep an accurate history of approvals, and send account emails such as password resets. If you agreed during sign-up, our team may call or text you about your account. We do not sell your personal information.
Who can see it
Your records are visible to you and to the BackRoom team members assigned to your account. Other clients cannot see them. We use service providers such as our hosting and email providers to run the Portal, under obligations to protect your information.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is active and afterwards only as needed for legal, accounting, or dispute purposes.
Your choices
You can update your details, change your password, and ask us for a copy of your information or to delete your account by contacting your account manager or using Help & requests.
Security
Connections are encrypted, passwords are hashed, sign-in links expire and work only once, and each account can reach only its own records. No system is perfectly secure; tell us promptly about anything suspicious.
